Green thumbs work to revitalise community garden

Recent stories

A group of gardening enthusiasts is giving Tennant Creek’s community garden a new lease on life.

Situated on the main street next to Barkly Quality Butchers, the green thumbs have launched a new initiative to rejuvenate the garden and make it productive once again.

The group is informal and will start meeting at 10am next Sunday, 31 March.

Any interested members of the public are invited to join them and contribute to the success of the project.

If you have a knack for gardening and some free time, feel free to visit the garden next Sunday and see what is happening with Tennant’s latest “growing” concern.
