Our Season opening was held last Saturday 23 September. The weather was very sunny and many members came to have a bowl. Maree Edwards, MLA for Bendigo West, came to open the season.
Maree bowled the first bowl and stayed to have a game. Visitors from Campbells Creek Bowls Club also attended. The day featured three games of four ends and a luncheon was enjoyed by all attendees.
At the Goldfields Triples last week, we had two teams go over to Dunolly and enjoy some great competition. Between the two teams, we had three wins, one draw and two losses. This week, we have been to Maryborough Golf Bowls Club.
Please come and try bowls, we have sets of club bowls for use.
