An interesting way to spend a few hours is to visit the big white Historical Museum on the corner of Forde and Warwick Streets, Allora.

This building was the old Shire Hall and has special displays and reading facilities.

You can step back in time by wandering through the back sheds that are full of wonderful examples of heritage household goods and machinery.

The second museum, which is the original museum, is located at 27 Drayton Street.

It also showcases local history and memorabillia from Allora and the district.

The Museums will be open on both Thursday 21st and 28th September from 9am to 11.30am and on Sunday 1st October from 1pm till 3pm.

Entry fee is Adults $5 and children under 14 free if accompanied by an adult.
