Which one will it be?

Recent stories

On Saturday they will play off for North-Central Football League’s highest honour, the 2023 premiership – in both seniors and reserves!

And in case you’re new to North-Central clubs within the Buloke Shire, they’re the Sea Lake-Nandaly Tigers and the Nullawil Maroons.

With the seniors unbeaten so far this season, the Tigers have been a powerhouse since entering the North-Central League several years ago. Whilst Nullawil is “brand new” to North-Central, it has come with a huge reputation, fresh from its 2022 premiership victory in the Golden Rivers League.

The two sides will highlight grand final day at Boort on Saturday, when a comprehensive program will feature four grades of football, six of netball (beginning at 9.30 a.m.), and four of hockey (from 11.15 a.m.).

The illustrations displayed are by Charlton’s Brian Townsend, who has created premiership posters for the “Buloke Times” for many years. From next Tuesday morning, posters of the winning senior team will be available at the successful team’s local newsagency.
