Monday, the Maldon Freemasons marched behind the Maldon Brass Band in the parade. This is the first time in many, many years for the Maldon Freemasons and the first time in history that the Victorian Grand Masters of the Freemasons Victoria, Grand Mark Lodge and Grand Chapter have joined in a parade united as masons.
Following the Parade, they all joined for lunch at the Maldon Masonic Centre, followed by a historical symbolic Dedication ceremony of the Mark Wall on the corner of the Lodge.
This wall represents the history of the lodge in this district, dating back to the goldfields.
Its dedication was conducted by the Grand Master of the Mark Lodge of Victoria.
