The Monster Trucks are back again! We love the Monster Trucks at Mullewa Show. Shattered Silence will be in the rodeo arena thrilling audiences with jumps and stunts and Big Red, the monster Fire Truck, will be giving rides around the showgrounds. There will be three Monster Truck Demos with the first one just after 12 and the big news is that rides in Big Red will be free thanks to the Mullewa Community Group.

If Monster Trucks aren’t enough, we are also having a Monster Bubble Party. Bubbly Fun World Class Entertainment are bringing their Bubble Party Show and will be making monster bubbles to delight both kids and adults.

The LiveLighter Mullewa Gift is back. The prize pool totals $7,500 this year so you can expect to see some of WA’s top professional and amateur runners.

“I can’t emphasise enough the quality of this athletics event and the quality of the competitors. If you enjoyed the Commonwealth Games, then this is the event for you.” Julie Freeman, Secretary.

The Mullewa Quick Shear competition will kick off at 2.30pm and will feature some of the best shearers in the state. “If you’ve never seen a shearing competition before, the Mullewa Quick Shear is the one to get to. The competitors have to be accurate as well as fast, it’s very impressive.” Julie Freeman, Secretary.

The main pavilion will be filled with exhibits including grain, poultry, crafts, cooking, flowers, art and children’s competitions. There will also be machinery displays, baby animals, market stalls and food vans.

Henry and Ranhal Band will be entertaining us as the sun goes down thanks to the Mullewa Community Resource Centre’s Melodies Mates & Mental Health Project and we will finish off the day at 7.30pm with the Fireworks; the perfect end to a big day at the Mullewa Show!

Don’t forget Outback Bloom – Mullewa’s Wildflower Festival is on at the same time as the Mullewa Show. You can visit the Festival at the Mullewa Town Hall in the morning before you come up to the Show. They have a huge display of plants, morning tea, guided bushwalks and expert talks. Outback Bloom is on from Thursday 25th until Sunday 28th August and you can find out more about that on their Facebook Page.
