A resident of Castlemaine, Dr Sinclair is an occupational therapist and health researcher who is passionate about sharing the Greens’ messages to those in regional Victoria.

“Our first priority is climate action. This generation needs to do something, not wait until 2050 for our grandchildren to make changes,” said Cate.

“We also need to address the housing crisis, with over 2,500 people on the public housing wait-list, many of whom are experiencing family violence and are very vulnerable.

“The Greens plan to build a million homes over the next 20 years. Seven hundred fifty thousand for social housing, 125,000 rental homes so nurses and teachers can access housing close to work and 125,000 shared houses, so people can invest in cost-capped housing. We want to shift away from housing privatisation.”
