There was a great turnout to Muckleford’s Annual Vintage Engine Rally last weekend. Engine enthusiasts were treated to displays of vintage engines, model engines and other memorabilia.

Secretary of the club, Graham Mason, said, “It’s been very good; we’re really happy with it.”

The club, which initially met in Guildford, was fortunate to obtain seven acres of land in Muckleford, largely due to a generous donation after the passing of long-time member Dave Bennett. Graham said, “He was a very quiet and unassuming man.

“We’re always looking for new members and are keen to get the young ones to join” , said Graham. “The great thing about the club is it doesn’t matter if you’ve got a small lawnmower or a vintage machine; everyone is welcome. We’re all mates here.”
