With the unique difficulties caused by COVID and having to operate from the temporary premises after the disastrous arson event in 2020, the local IGA supermarket was unable to provide the level of community support as in previous years.

It has not been possible for them to provide the monthly sausage sizzle to different community groups to fundraise, so they came up with another idea.

Yesterday representatives of the local soccer club, Lions Club and the CWA were each presented with $800 cheques from the IGA Community Chest to assist them with their activities, and all recipients were very thankful for the gift.

Don’t forget to check out the range festive food and decorations in stock right now so you don’t forget anything for the big day.
