Narrandera hosted another hugely successful Earlies Rod Run event over Easter 2025.
The show and shine at Narrandera Sportsground on Easter Sunday was a great success with 450 cars in attendance and parked around the sports oval.
The rodding women enjoyed a relaxing afternoon at Sew Fab on Good Friday making projects and wine tasting and rodders thanked Leanne Ivanoff and her team of helpers for hosting this event.
Two observation runs to Barellan and Ganmain were also undertaken by rodders and their families.
Good Friday night was the dinner dance and patrons enjoyed listening to Rough Cut.
“Thank you to the town of Narrandera, Narrandera Shire Council for having us and supporting this event,” said Rod Run organiser Steve Alldrick.
“A big thank you to all of our sponsors for once again supporting the Rod Run – we really appreciate it.
“Thank you to everyone who lent a hand to set up, pack up, serve meals, all of the local Narrandera people who assisted us.”
There was a large amount of entrants for the Rod Run this year with 398 entries from far and wide.
A total of $5000 was raised for Can Assist, at the Show and Shine and via donations. A further $500 was raised for the Gillenbah Rural Fire Brigade.
“We will have a rest for a month now and then begin preparations for next year’s run to Narrandera,” concluded Steve Alldrick.
