The federal election ballot draw was held by the Australian Electoral Commission in East Wagga on Friday, April 11, revealing the order of the candidates on the official ballot.
While there were many familiar names in the mix, some new ones emerged – including candidates from Pauline Hanson’s One Nation party and the Shooters Fishers and Farmers.
After the ballot order was determined by AEC officials, candidates reacted to their randomly selected positions and laid out the main issues they planned to campaign on.
Incumbent Member for Riverina, Nationals MP Michael McCormack was number 11 on the ballot draw.
