The Allora P-10 State School Awards Night was held on Tuesday 19 November, celebrating 157 years of local schooling. The evening recognised the sporting, cultural and academic achievements of students from Years 7-10 and graduation of the Year 10 cohort of 2024.
Former student and successful local businessman, Jordan Henry, was an entertaining guest speaker providing inspiration and valuable advice to the Year 10s as they transition to the next phase of their educational/vocational journey. Sporting awards were presented by Shirley Mason for whom the school’s tennis shield is named. Former student, talented musician and music teacher, Lesley Telford, presented Music Awards and Special awards were presented by former student Councillor Carla Pidgeon and RSL Vice President, Doug Lansley.
