Gold medalist at Hodgson Vale equestrian centre

Recent stories

With everyone still on an Olympic high from Paris, the RM Equestrian Centre at Hodgson Vale has secured the services of Olympic Equestrian Gold Medalist Stuart Tinney for a series of workshops in September.

Stuart Tinney is one of Australian’s foremost equestrians having achieved a gold medal in the 2000 Olympics and a bronze medal at the 2016 Olympics as well as numerous other achievements in competitions all around the world.

Stuart was inducted into the Australian Sports Hall of Fame in 2003 and in recent years has established his own equestrian business Tinney Eventing on 30 acres in Maraylya, one hour from central Sydney.

Tinney Eventing’s primary focus is on campaigning eventers for themselves and several owners, plus providing an elite training centre for other up-and-coming performance riders.

Unfortunately for Stuart his quest to be selected for the Paris Games came to an end when his horse suffered an injury during selection trials.

The R.M. Equestrian Centre will host Stuart Tinney’s clinic in Cross Country riding and Course Building from the 13th to the 15th of September with only a few places still available to Equestrian Australia and RMEC members.
