Home grown MMA Champion Danielle ‘Drop Bear’ Curtis is jet-setting abroad once again, to fight.
Danielle was originally scheduled to fight a different opponent and unfortunately, that opponent was recently injured.
As a result, Danielle is stepping up a weight division on short notice.
This is so she can fight at bantamweight in the Co-Main Event of the show.
The show is called Pallas Athena Women’s Fighting Championship and will take place in Calgary Canada on March 9, which will be Sunday March 10 in Australia.
The event will be live streamed worldwide on Millions.co and will air roughly mid-morning to lunchtime in Australia.
“I’m very excited to once again be able to represent my country on the international stage,” Danielle said.
“Stepping into the cage is what I love to do, and I’m Australian, us Aussies are known for taking the tough fights no one else wants to take, often stepping in on short notice with the odds stacked against us.
“It’s who we are. We thrive on adversity.”
Danielle would be delighted and very grateful if anyone interested in sponsoring her, to assist in covering all the costs associated with getting to Canada for the fight, would like to get in touch.
We will be cheering you on from here, Drop Bear!
