The Corryong Historic Machinery Club is welcoming returning participants, visitors and locals to its 2023 Rally this weekend; the first event since 2019 following the ‘Black Summer’ bushfires, the pandemic and a ‘big wet’.
Running over two days at the Corryong Recreation Reserve, the rally includes a wide array of stationary engines, vintage and classic tractors, cars, trucks, motorcycles, market stalls and more.
Enthusiasts travel from far and wide to see and talk machinery with the passionate club members, entrants and other aficionados.
Features this year are the David Brown tractor club, Old hay press and sponsors, Case International, which will also have a display.
There will also be strongest man and woman competitions, wood chop and the popular tractor pull.
Visitors to the rally can also get involved by voting for their favourite displays and demonstrations in nine categories and there will be a best overall and Mayor’s choice awards.
Refreshments will be available and BBQ meals with desserts are on offer on Friday and Saturday nights. Entry is $10 for adults and under 16s are free. Camping is also available on site.
