Many visitors and locals are preparing for this year’s 7th Annual Khancoban Poker on Saturday October 28th.

This year proceeds from the day and the auction that night will be going to Country Hope which provides emotional and financial support to country families who have a child diagnosed with cancer or other life- threatening illness.

Registration is from 5:00pm on Friday 27th at the Khancoban Alpine Inn.

Live entertainment will be provided by ‘Done Deal’ at the auction after the event on Saturday evening and the Khancoban Poker Run Committee hopes to see many participants and locals keen for a great night out.

A poker run is an organised event in which participants, usually on motorcycles, must visit five to seven checkpoints, drawing a playing card at each one. The object is to have the best poker hand at the end of the run.
