From push to mighty mower

Recent stories

Who will ever forget the image of the Allora Golf Course voluntary groundsman Hethe Ramus mowing the first fairway by hand back in March 2022. The photo is reproduced here as a reminder.

Those days will be a distant memory for Hethe with the Golf Club today taking delivery of a brand new Kubota Baroness Gang Mower which boasts a 2.8 metre cutting width. The Allora golf fairways will now be in even better condition with Hethe being able to mow them more regularly and in much quicker time.

Pictured with Hethe is Rob Collman from Southern Downs Ag in Warwick. Rob has provided the Sports Club with incredible service both with the ordering and delivery of the Kubota Baroness.

The Club also extends it’s thanks to Gerard Beard and Deanne Barron from PMG Finance for their assistance in funding the mower purchase.

The course is a major asset to the Allora community and we encourage people of all ages to come out and have a round of golf.
