The Channon Craft Market back in action

Recent stories

The markets are back in their home at Coronation Park, eager to bring the community back together to create the famous iconic event.

Held on the second Sunday of the month since 1976, the market is renowned for its colour and atmosphere.

Each month a community group raises funds to support organisations that surround our communities.

The Channon, Dunoon and Modanville organisations benefit greatly from having an opportunity to be the ‘charity of the day’.

It’s a wonderful day out for locals and visitors to the region and proudly supports artisans and producers who make, bake and grow.

If you have ever thought of selling your wares, showcasing your skills, or bringing to life your artistic flare, the market is for you.

The Channon Markets welcome folks each month to come and earn that extra dollar or two, supporting creators and makers to step up and show the world what our region’s cottage industries and micro businesses are all about.

We dare you to join us and become involved in your local market.

Stall sites are available and the market crew are keen to have you be part of the monthly market.

To register, jump on our website and apply prior to the market (conditions apply).

You have to be in it to win it! Visit www.thechannonmarket.org.au or email us at admin@thechannonmarket.org.au.

Each month musicians entertain the crowds, buskers bring atmosphere and the stall owners bring the colour.

The Channon Markets are on the second Sunday of each month at Coronation Park, The Channon.

The next markets are on 12 February and 12 March – we urge you to pencil it in or poke it in on your calendar, bring your friends, family and your neighbours – let the world know! The Channon Craft Market is our local market and it’s worth a visit.

Please leave your pets at home – they would love the day off! The market is a pet-free event.
