After a break of two years, the Stawell Show is set to return on Saturday, 22 October, and a great day of fun and entertainment is planned for the whole family.

A major attraction will be the RES Stawell Show Woodchop competition, run by Wimmera Axemen. There are ten classes in the competition including the Victorian Title for 275mm U/hand Championship. The woodchop is scheduled to commence at 11am.

Wonderful children’s entertainer Hayley Hoopla will perform as Bubbles the Mermaid, creating lots of bubble magic for children through the day.

Young ones can also enjoy a visit to Barn Buddies Petting Farm, and rides on the Carisbrook Lions’ Mini Train.

Other popular attractions include the Horse Show, Hall Classes, Photography Section, Show Girls & Boys Competition, Schools Competition, Animal Nursery, Miniature Goat Show, Sheaf Tossing, and the Beaut Ute, Car & Motorbike Competition.

As a special welcome back, there will be free entry for all children aged 17 and under this year.

Entry for adults is $10.

Gates open at 9am and close at 5pm.
