The Lockhart community is excited to once again be holding its annual show on Sunday 25th September 2022.
There will be traditional show events and plenty of entertainment for the whole family including performances by Circus McCabe, Rev It Up Racing Simulator and Hay Ho Animal Nursery.
With entertainment commencing from 10am, you’ll need plenty of time to explore what’s on offer across the grounds.
There will be an array of artisans on display such as pottery wheels, a blacksmith craftsman, Lockhart Men’s Shed wood turning, spoon making, jewellery making, wool spinning, as well as turning back in time to scythe mowing.
For those with a thirst for extreme sports, X Games Gold Medallist and Lockhart local Jackson Strong & friends will be wowing attendees with their motocross skills.
The official show opening will be held at 1.30pm, where the inaugural Lockhart Show Young Woman of the Year (formerly Showgirl) will be announced as well as the much-loved Baby Show and Junior Showgirl/Boy Quest. This will be followed by the renowned Bushman’s Relay & Gumboot Throwing competitions, providing fun for all ages into the afternoon.
The agricultural focus of our region will be on show with alpaca and sheep displays, poultry, wool and grain sections of the show. Take a tour through the Harold Howard Pavilion where we showcase talented photographers from across the region, as well as arts, crafts & schoolwork on display.
The Lockhart Show Society and community warmly welcomes competitors and attendees to join us on show day – we’re back on the calendar!
