Recent stories

Welshman’s Reef resident, and experienced yoga teacher, Amy Sonsie, opened Take a Breath Wellness Studio at the beginning of 2022.

Amy offers a range of well-being services to people who are feeling overwhelmed and need valuable skills to help in times of stress, mental illness, and anxiety.

Take a Breath provides new and practical ways to improve mental health and self-care skills, through classes, workshops, programs, and wellbeing packages.

Take a Breath aims to help teach people how to care for themselves and the community they live in.

Take A Breath is running two new programs during the month of August: Self-Care for Sole Traders and Wellbeing Relationships in the Workplace.

The first program, Self-Care for Sole Traders, is designed to provide self-care techniques and assist in finding ways to implement them into daily life.

The program also teaches effective communication methods, that can improve business relationships. Operating via zoom, the program will run from Wednesday 17 August 12pm-1pm and Thursday 18 August 6pm-7pm.  Cost is $40 per person.

The second program being offered is a two-hour zoom session, which is aimed at anyone who works in a team environment, that may be looking for ways to improve workplace dynamics and create a less stressful environment.

The program provides tools for effective communication and helps to identify and implement early prevention of mental illness.

Wellbeing Relationships in the Workplace will run on Wednesday 24 August 11am-1pm and Thursday 25 August 6pm-8pm.  Cost is $60 per person and group discounts are available.
