Congratulations and thank you to all those who made submissions to the Electoral Commission Redistribution Panel in relation to the proposal to move LHI from the electorate of Port Macquarie to the electorate of Sydney!
85. The Redistribution Panel has determined to retain Lord Howe Island within the electoral district of Port Macquarie, rather than transfer it to the electoral district of Sydney.
No other electorate had more than two submissions put forward for the Draft Redistribution but LHI was the exception and you got a mention for that!!
41. The one exception to this general pattern was that a total of 32 submissions were lodged in opposition to the Redistribution Panel’s proposal that Lord Howe Island be transferred from the electoral district of Port Macquarie to the electoral district of Sydney. – feeling happy.
