Maranoa sale sets new record

Recent stories

A scenic 435-hectare property in the Maranoa region has been picked up by an expanding local family for $2.18 million, setting a new district record for a bare block at $5,011 per hectare.

The property known as Nick’s Paddock was sold through Carl Warren from TopX Australia on behalf of David and Kate Gordon.

It is divided into three paddocks and has an abundance of buffel, with brigalow, belah and bottletree scrub country running to ironbark and box creek flats, and is watered with a new share bore and two dams.
