The highly anticipated and community-driven Kangaroo Island Easter Art Exhibition is returning in 2023, and while it is promising to be bigger and better than ever before, the theme of the iconic is graciously titled Precious Moments. The biennial exhibition, which started 35 years ago, has been given a significant boost with the doubling in value of the major prize – the Diana Keir Art Award – honouring the memory of the local artist, friend and muse to many on the Island.

Bouncing back from the flood-enforced cancellation last October, Charlton's "OK Motels" Festival was back with a bigger and better impact as visitors soaked up the relaxed country lifestyle last weekend. With the focus firmly set on “community” and the town presenting an array of add-on activities, there was a tangible feeling of homecoming, as friendships were rekindled, new ones made, and former attendees introducing newcomers to what could viewed as a “lifestyle” event.

Election debate to tackle food future, 22 February 2023: NSW Farmers

Designed to focus on key agricultural issues ahead of the state election, the Dubbo debate on Wednesday night will feature Agriculture Minister Dugald Saunders, Shadow Minister Mick Veitch, Greens spokesperson Sue Higginson, One Nation spokesperson Rod Roberts, and Shooters, Fishers, and Farmers spokesperson Robert Borsak.

NIOA Santa Gertrudis Stud at Talgai took home the big prize with Supreme Stud Beef Exhibit of the Allora Show. Leading the bull was Sam Falls from Warwick. Blue Ribbons were also awarded to NIOA for Supreme Bull and Supreme Female.

‘More of everything’ as dates revealed for unique festival

New exhibition showcasing vintage fashion

Port Pirie Regional Art Gallery is excited to present an exhibition of local and regional South Australian significance: Tina Hooft: A Country Women's Wardrobe II. Featuring vintage clothing and accessories from bygone eras, this exhibition draws on the considerable collection of Dutch-born, Merriton-based collector Tina Hooft, who has been collecting vintage garments, accessories and more for over 20 years.
