The Tallangatta Agricultural & Pastoral Society Inc welcomes you to the 128th Annual Tallangatta Show! Tallangatta show is family fun time, with free entertainment for the children, and free entry for children accompanied by an adult. The girl guides will have lots of fun games throughout the day all free!

We are delighted to bring you our 2024 show, with a bigger than “Ben Hur” lineup of fun and entertainment, trade fair, competitions, fashion, food, all things agriculture…and an awesome 2 days of action-packed regional community spirit!

This year's show will feature : NRA Rodeo held on Friday 8th March with bull riding, saddle ride and barrel racing The Berrymen will be performing Friday and saturday night. Saturday night program will feature lawnmower races, FMX motorcross  and fireworks

The 2024 Cooma Show Committee are excited about our 148th  Annual  Cooma Show on the 9th  of March 2024. This year’s theme is Carnival Celebration, celebrating 100 years of Bell’s Amusements. The  show will be opened at midday by Elwin Bell from Bell’s Amusements.

Jenny Pollard. After four days of full-on activity, Charlton has surely earned a place in the spotlight for community endeavour as both a host and in partnership with the burgeoning OK Motels Contemporary Music and Arts Small Town Festival, which played out last weekend ... with the fun and innovative  activities like “Marry Your Friends – A Celebration of Holy Mate-rimony”...

Daisy Baker. As locations across Tasmania are being transformed into immersive art spaces for Mona Foma, an independent gym in Launceston is preparing to host world-class circus professionals for two adults-only evenings this week. Tasmanian circus company ROOKE will present DEKOOR in Method Plus Action gym, playfully exploring gym culture, training and voyeurism.

The Binda Picnic Races are a cherished annual country picnic race meet held in the charming town of Binda, New South Wales. These races have a rich history, dating back to 1848, making them a significant tradition in the region.

The fun-filled family weekend of exhibits, attractions, and entertainment of the annual Goulburn Show to be held on the 2nd and 3rd of March. This year's theme is FLORA & FAUNA! So get your thinking caps on and start creating something wonderful for your pavilion entries.

Blake Lee. In just 15 days’ time, Birchip’s main street will become a vibrant, action packed site for locals and tourists alike as the community comes together to host the Mali Heart Street Art Festival.  The March long weekend is set to be an eventful one for Birchip, with travellers from all across the state choosing to spend their weekend in the area to enjoy the hospitality and activities on offer with the locals.

Serena Kirby. The coming performances of ‘When Birds Take Flight’ will take audiences on a poetic and musical journey that symbolises the migratory path of birds between Denmark and Siberia. The musical collaboration for voice and instruments has been created by composer/lyricist Louise McKenna and poet and spoken word performer, Jen Fraser, and takes the form of a story-song cycle.

Represented by 11 students and eight head of YAHS school cattle, as well as five Angledoon animals, Yanco Agricultural High School took out the most successful cattle exhibitor at the recent Henty Show. They competed in the junior judging where they all participated in judging steers.

Kate Holland. Being a chef means juggling a multitude of demands. So, is inviting a fellow foodie into the kitchen to interpret your menu an act of generosity or insanity? Alana Brabin, head chef at Kangaroos Island’s majestic dining venue The Enchanted Fig Tree, is all for it ... Sarah Turner (Chef of the Year 2007) and Rocky Oliver (Pirate Life) will enter the fig tree fold on  Sunday February 25  and  Saturday March 23  respectively.

For many years the Blue Cow Hotel at Allora has sponsored the Supreme Ewe and Ram of the Allora Show. This year the award went to Milton Park Suffolk and White Suffolk Stud from Hendon.

Lockyer Valley audiences will be treated to an award-winning selection of regional Queensland talent with the showing of Paint the Town at the Lockyer Valley Art Gallery ... An initiative of Flying Arts Alliance, Paint the Town is the touring exhibition of the 2021 Queensland Regional Art Awards and showcases the works of 28 talented emerging and established artists from across regional Queensland.

This year the Show is a 3 day Show 1st - 3rd March 2024 and the Show Theme is 'Home Grown'   Entry to the Show on Sunday is free and we will be holding our Ute Show, Dog Show and Arena Sorting Events on the Sunday

Celebrating 200 Years of Discovery: The 149th Annual Tumut Show Beckons with Festivity. TUMUT, March 1st and 2nd - The town of Tumut is set to burst into vibrant celebration as it commemorates two centuries since its initial discovery with the much-anticipated 149th Tumut Show.

Known variously as County Fairs, or State Fairs, Agricultural Shows have been a rural tradition world-wide since the first one was held in England by the Salford Agricultural Society in Lancashire in 1768. Agricultural Shows have been happening in Australia since the nineteenth Century, and around 580 (around 185 in NSW) occur every year, bringing fun, education and entertainment to urban and rural communities. This year 2024 will be the 86th  Comboyne Show, with the first one having been held in 1933.
