Local stakeholders were invited for a tour of the Tennant Creek Youth Centre a week ahead of its soft opening next Friday. The Youth Centre will open just in time for the school holidays at a soft opening from 3pm next Friday afternoon with a disco, laser tag, games and action on the ninja course.

Pistol Club encourages locals to give it a shot
On Sunday morning, the local Pistol Club held an Open Day at their range located just outside of town, providing members of the public with the opportunity to try pistol shooting. Members of the club, along with visiting members of Pistol NT from Darwin, were present to assist and teach those who attended.
Youth Centre officially in hands of Council
Remote Concrete NT officially handed over the keys to the Tennant Creek Youth Centre to Barkly Regional Council this week. Remote Concrete NT’s Managing Director Jared Baldwin met with Acting Mayor Russell O’Donnell met at the site for the celebratory occasion on Wednesday.
