Biggest producer line-up ever drives LambEx26 program

LambEx, Media Release, 16 April 2026

The most sheep producers ever assembled on stage will headline LambEx26, with a freshly released program designed to bring the entire supply chain together – and onto one agenda.

The Adelaide event will feature a world-leading line-up of 80+ speakers, spanning producers, processors, researchers, global market analysts and innovators, with a clear focus on practical value for sheep businesses.

From global market signals to on-farm decision making, the LambEx26 program connects the big picture with practical action.

LambEx26 Taskforce Chair Jamie Heinrich said 50 per cent of keynote speakers are producers, putting real production experience at the centre of the program.

“Every producer has their own niche, and the theme ‘Telling Our Stories’ creates the space to unpack what drives each business,” he said.

“The program covers everything from adapting farm businesses and building a team, through to breeding, animal health, expansion, production efficiencies, containment and performance – right down to what happens on the hook.”

“LambEx26 shines a spotlight on sheep businesses across Australia and the world. It’s what the industry asked for, and we’ve delivered in spades – more than we’ve ever had on stage before.”

Across three days, the program brings together real-world examples from different production systems, breeds and regions, alongside international perspectives and leading market insight. Rapid-fire innovation sessions, global market trends, artificial intelligence in agriculture and practical business management all feature, with a consistent focus on what works – and how it applies on farms.

At the centre of the program sits the LambEx26 AMPC Carcase Showcase – the largest lamb carcase showcase and feedback exercise from one cohort in the world. The scale of the showcase is unmatched, with carcase data assessed and pulled apart live on stage by producers, meat processors and industry experts.

This connects data to decisions, linking on-farm production directly to processor requirements, market signals and price outcomes.

Mr Heinrich said the Showcase alone would make LambEx26 a must-attend event. “The scale of this is incredible,” he said.

“You’ve got the entire supply chain in the room, working through real results together. That level of transparency and insight is rare – and it’s where real progress happens.”

Strong interest has already built around the Showcase and broader program, with demand driven by the practical, take-home value LambEx is known for.

From Tech Talks and trade floor innovation to global market updates and producer-led panels, LambEx26 brings the industry’s key conversations together in one place and culminates in the Elders Grandslamb Gala Dinner.

If it matters to the sheep industry, it’s at LambEx.

LambEx26 will be held in Adelaide from July 7–10, 2026, bringing together producers and industry from across Australia and the world for what is shaping as the most comprehensive sheep industry program to date.

Early Bird tickets are on sale for a limited time, with a 53 per cent discount available for producers on the full ticket price. Head to https://www.lambex.org.au/program to see the full program and to secure your ticket.
