Cambooya Hall has a history wall

Recent stories

The Cambooya Public Hall Committee has created a valuable asset for the local community with the creation of a “History Wall” in the recently refurbished facility.

The wall already features a varied range of photographs that relate to Cambooya and the local district in years gone by.

Residents are being offered the opportunity to be part of the move to preserve local history.

Photographs or any other historic matter such as old newspaper clippings, maps, postcards, old signs or plaques, or medals and pins can be left with the hall committee.

Members of the committee will frame or appropriately hang these donated items on the history wall.

Any donations of frames would also be welcome.

For further details on the history wall, contact committee member Rachel Barron on 0415 357 647.

The Cambooya Public Hall has taken on a new lease of life following the receipt of major grant funds which have enabled the committee to undertake some significant upgrades.
