Clarence Head Longboarders are hosting the annual Yamba Single Fin on the 7th, 8th and 9th of June. The event starts at 7:20am each day and wraps up around midday. It is held at Turners Beach and there will be a sausage sizzle sponsored by Locke’s Butchery Yamba.
Divisions range from Juniors through to Over 70s, Old Malibu and Timber longboards.
We would love some support from our community, and to encourage you to come down and check out the talented surfers. We have a custom made Wobbly Chook longboard shaped by RG surfboards being raffled for $5 a ticket. Tickets can be bought at the Wobbly Chook or at Turners beach during the event.
There is also a (surfing related) gift hamper for whoever takes the best photograph of a competitor surfing. This is open to anyone and you’ll get extra points if the surfer is hanging 10!
Come down to Turners beach this long-weekend, buy a sausage sanga and watch the longboarders do what they do best!
