The famous Postle Gift was held at Pittsworth on Saturday with Brisbane Sprinter Hamish Macintosh winning the main race.
Another race that attracted much attention was the Fastest Female Footballer on the Downs.
No surprises that Allora’s own Reagan McMillan competed and she ran a credible third. Reagan played with the Highï¬elds Eagles who won the TRL women’s rugby league grand ï¬nal last year.
Throughout her school days and in all sports in which she competed, Reagan has become known for her athletic ability and determination to do her very best at all times.
The Postle Gift is named after Arthur Postle, “The Crimson Flash”, who was a professional sprinter born in Pittsworth, and set world records for sprints of various distances throughout the early 20th Century.
