On Saturday night a group of local tennis enthusiasts attended the Queensland Tennis Awards at the W Brisbane Hotel. The Allora Tennis Club was one of only seven clubs selected as a finalist in the Most Outstanding Club – Metro and Regional/Rural. Although they did not get the win the Club can be very proud to be listed as a finalist.
At the Awards night members were pleased to catch up with the guest of honour John Millman who was thrilled to hear what the Allora Club is doing to get racquets in hands, no matter the tennis format.
It was a night to remember with ten Allora Tennis Club members to share in the fantastic experience.
Next big event is the Grand Open Day on Sunday 24 November where everyone is welcome.
