As the public hearing into Australia’s excess mortality figures continues, questions about Australian politicians mandating Covid-19 therapeutics continue.
Unlike traditional vaccines, the Covid-19 injections were released while still in a phase three trial, with no long-term safety data.
Giving evidence before the Senate, Dr Jeyanthi Kunadhasan MD(UKM) MMED(UM) Fanzca MMED (Monash) anaesthetist and perioperative physician presented a peer review study that demonstrated the original Pfizer trial data was manipulated to hide additional deaths in the vaccinated group.
“I’m one of the authors of the first peer reviewed paper in the medical literature unaffiliated with the trial sponsor, which examined the original Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine trial data,” said Dr Kunadhasan.
“To fully understand the issue of excess deaths, there needs to be proper scrutiny of the intervention that was implemented on more than 90 per cent of the Australian population, that’s Covid-19 vaccination.
“More than 50 per cent of the Australian population took Pfizer’s mRNA vaccine.
“At the pivotal point of Pfizer’s vaccine approval in December 2020, there was a gross misrepresentation in what was presented publicly.
“Instead of the six deaths publicly disclosed, four placebo, two vaccinated, suggesting a benefit of vaccination, there were in fact 11 deaths, with more deaths in the vaccinated arm, six.
“We found undisclosed deaths, especially in the vaccinated arm of this clinical trial, in contravention to legal and ethical obligations of trial sponsors.”
The trial data the Food and Drug Administration relied upon to approve the Pfizer vaccine was conducted on 44,000 trial participants at 153 sites in six countries. The FDA attempted to hide the data away for 75 years, but US District Judge Mark Pittman radically shortened the timeline to 8 months after a Freedom of Information Act document lawsuit by a coalition of doctors and scientists with the nonprofit Public Health and Medical Professionals for Transparency. The two-year trial has only had its 16-week and six-month findings published to date. Unfortunately, the study was unblinded, with trial administrators allowing the placebo subjects to crossover to the vaccine arm. In the end, 90 per cent of the 44,000 participants were vaccinated, and only 10 per cent remained unvaccinated.
In the primary trial, there was a data cutoff of November 14, 2020, by which time 170 participants’ data were captured. The claim of 95 per cent efficacy of the vaccine was based on these original 170 participants.
After the independent researchers tracked down the 170 cases, it revealed a delay in reporting trial deaths, skewing the results in favour of the vaccine. The capture rate for reporting deaths in the placebo group was 80 per cent, meaning four out of the five deaths were reported, but for the vaccinated group, they only managed to capture two out of the six that occurred.
A top Australian has been scathing of Australia’s political handling of Covid-19. Being quoted in a News.com.au article written by Frank Chung, Dr Kerryn Phelps, former MP for Wentworth and Deputy Lord Mayor of Sydney, and past president of the Australian Medical Association (AMA) accused the government in the article of fuelling mistrust of health authorities while overselling the “safety and efficacy” of vaccines, and ignoring those suffering serious adverse events from the jabs.
Dr Phelps and her wife both suffered “devastating” vaccine injuries after a Pfizer jab.
Quoted in the article, Dr Phelps said, “Of course, early in the rollout of the vaccines, little was known about the potential range of adverse effects of the vaccine.
“In the urgency to vaccinate as many people as possible as quickly as possible, patients who had suffered significant vaccine injury were encouraged or mandated to have subsequent doses with inadequate evidence for the potential damage this might do to someone who had already suffered an adverse reaction to the vaccine.
“It also became evident that these were not sterilising vaccines, and that while they were reported to provide some protection against severe disease and long Covid, they would not stop infection or transmission or the development of long Covid.”
In the Australian Bureau of Statistics submission to the Excess Mortality enquiry, it was revealed the median age of deaths from Covid-19 is 87.3 years, with those likely to have co-morbidities (i.e. they have two or more diseases or medical conditions). The most common pre-existing diseases among those who died from the virus were chronic cardiac conditions (including coronary heart disease) and dementia. People living in more disadvantaged areas were more than 2.5 times more likely to die from the virus. (This has changed over time – in 2021, people who died from the virus were over six times more likely to live in a most disadvantaged area, compared with 2.5 times over the course of the pandemic.)
To date, there have been over 140,000 reports made to the Therapeutic Goods Administration, Database of Adverse Event Notifications (DAEN) regarding the Covid-19 therapeutics.
Dutch researchers published in BMJ Public Health this month, wrote that excess mortality following the introduction of Covid-19 vaccines was “unprecedented and raises serious concerns”, that data on deaths linked to the vaccines was murky and “simultaneous onset of excess mortality and Covid-19 vaccination in Germany provides a safety signal warranting further investigation.”
Where there is risk, there must be a personal choice, not a political one.
