Highlights and Lowlights

Leonie Harvey and Maree Egan out drove Peter Kelly by 100m on the 4th.. They didn’t mention that Peter’s tee shot hit a tree, or that he well and truly out drove them both on the other seventeen holes.  Peter suggested that Maree was up to “monkey business”, i.e going from tree to tree! This awesome threesome was also heard to say that they had time for afternoon tea on the 6th while they waited for Kerry Murphy in the group ahead, because she lost her ball and had to go back and hit a second one. Congratulations to Debbie Burton and Maree Cullen on their birdies on the 7th and their great scores as well.   Debbie had her best score ever with a very nice 79 off the stick.

Jenni Campbell is offering danger money to her playing partners, after she hit Lindy Morgan’s buggy with her approach to the 14th.

Thank you to all those who supported the casserole dinner last Saturday, including some of the club’s bowlers. I think all who attended enjoyed the night.

“Grant me the serenity to accept the shots I miss, the courage to try again and the wisdom not to throw my clubs in the dam.”
