Dancer takes aim at state titles

Recent stories

Continuing her good form, Sarah Jarvis recently wrapped up her metropolitan solo campaign at the 2023 Calisthenics State Championships at The Besen Centre in Burwood.

This was her fifth and final competition in the 17 Years Open Reserve Division, against dancers from all around Victoria. Sarah rounded out her campaign achieving a 1st, becoming the 17 years Open Reserve Graceful State Champion.

Sarah is now focusing on training for her team competitions with Murray River Calisthenics Club, beginning in August, with the final team competition being the 2023 Calisthenics State Championships.

Calisthenics is a sport with performing at its heart. It offers a unique combination of dancing, gymnastics and technical skill, developing strong, confident leaders through friendship and teamwork.

Calisthenics inspires performers to take centre stage today and throughout their lives.
