The Tennant Creek Lions Club celebrated its 55th anniversary with a stunning sunset dinner on Saturday evening. The first ever Australian Lions Club was formed in Lismore in 1947, with the Tennant Creek branch forming two decades later.
Lions members and guests gathered at Battery Hill to enjoy a delicious dinner with live music in the background as they reminisced about all the fundraising events and initiatives the local branch has achieved in its 55 years in the Barkly.
