The Gulgong community are eagerly preparing for their upcoming Show. Gulgong Show day is Saturday 19th February.

Attractions include the Eastend Bus Service Rodeo, free activities for children, Hot Air Balloon Rides on the Defence Force Balloon, Wood Chop, Beaut All Vehicle Show, Dog Show in Victoria Park, Young Farmers Challenge, Farm Livestock, Birds & Poultry, Horse Events, Pavilion Displays, Australian Wildlife Park Display, Side Show Alley, Live Entertainment including Step Up Dance Academy. Darsharni & Tayvin Martins, and the Moosic Man, the Mad Bucking Cow, Mid-Western Regional Council Mobile Library, and Captain Awesome.

New features to our Show are two ATMs on site and free hail and ride courtesy bus within the Showground.

Show BBQ opens at 6.30am with egg and bacon rolls. Our air-conditioned dining room is opening at 10am with morning teas, lunch and refreshments. Main bar opens at 12 noon and the rodeo bar will open at 5pm. Thank you to Gulgong Netball Club and other community groups who have kindly assisted with managing our bars for us.

The evening will conclude with fireworks approximately around 8.30pm (weather conditions permitting).

The Gulgong Show is an online ticketed event. Tickets can be purchased through 123TIX a link is available on the facebook page and on the website www.gulgongshow.org.au. Alternatively, you can become a member by completing the membership form online and emailing to info@gulgongshow.org.au. You can also visit the Show office Show week Monday to Friday 10am – 4pm and pay in person. There are benefits to becoming a member – members with children 15 and under can have their children enter for free when accompanied by financial member.

Congratulations to our AgShows NSW Young Woman Finalist Hollie Smith. Hollie has been a great ambassador for the Gulgong Show Society and the Show Movement. Hollie is coordinating our Australian Young Farmers Challenge. The challenge requires teams of four with at least one female. Team categories are ages 12-17 or 18-35. The Show Schedule has all the information you need to learn about the Gulgong Show is now on sale at local Gulgong businesses for $3 each. Members receive a book at no charge. It is also available for free online on the Gulgong Show website. The Gulgong Show Society looks forward to welcoming all visitors to Gulgong Show Day!
