The $25 IGA Supermarket food vouchers are now available to collect for eligible residents one day after they receive their second dose.

Anyinginyi Executive Manager of the Public Health Section Syed Jan said all residents needed to do is carry valid identification and a Medicare card to claim the voucher, with teens aged 12-13 to be accompanied by their guardians.

Mr Jan said in addition to the incentive, Anyinginyi was actively encouraging the community get vaccinated, with its fifth round of the vaccine awareness campaign to hit Community Living Areas (CLAs), in collaboration with Julalikari Council Aboriginal Corporation.

The campaign will be at Tingkarli and Wuppa on Monday from 10am to 12 noon at the old community centres and the Village on Tuesday from 10am to 12 noon under the shed.

“It is evident from the recent outbreaks around the country that complete two doses of the vaccine is the best way to protect ourselves, our family and our community,” said Mr Jan.
