Mount Manning aggregation sold

Recent stories

Stephen and Claire Schmitt from Southern Downs have paid $3.6 million bare for the fully operational Mount Manning grazing aggregation.

Located 25 kilometres north of Warwick and 136 kilometres south west of Brisbane, the aggregation comprises the 426-hectare Mount Manning and the 362-hectare Mullins Block.

The new owners will use Mount Manning to background 800 to 1,000 lambs at a time over a six to eight week period for their sheep feedlot at Victoria Hill, and bring in 60 weaners from Charleville and finish them on the property, and grow some fodder.

Mount Manning comprises undulating and lightly timbered grazing country and has around 100 hectares of arable black and brown alluvial soils.

Water is secured by double frontage to the Condamine River stretching four kilometres, multiple dams, reticulated bore to tanks and troughs, and 230 megalitres of water entitlements.

Simon Cudmore from LAWD sold the property.
