Mawson’s T20 Blast Cricket third round was held on Thursday, February 4. Wandella hosted Barham/ Koondrook at Riverside Park in Kerang. Entering round three, the two top teams on equal points on the ladder faced off. Playing conditions were challenging with storm clouds looming and northerly twenty-kilometre winds. The white playing ball was challenging to focus on in the sky, making way for on-field action with close runouts and dropped catches.

Wandella batted first 4/137 after 20 overs, while Barham/Koondrook all out for 120, Wandella won by 18 runs.

Barham/Koondrook top batter, J. Wisehart, 38 from 28 balls, was runout by J. McKnight and B. McKnight. Bowling, D. Bibby, two overs, 17 runs, and one wicket. T. Guerra, four overs, 17 runs, and two wickets. L. Laursen, one over seven runs, and one wicket. Fielding, D. Lolicato, W. Lolicato, BJ Watts, CB Akurugoda caught one each.

Wandella top batter L. Murray 40 runs from 26 balls, not out. P. Moore four overs, 14 runs, and one wicket. L. Keighran four overs, 22 runs and two wickets. D. Higgs four overs, 28 runs, and one wicket. R. Barnes four overs, 18 runs , and two wickets. J. McKnight four balls, three runs, and one wicket. In the fielding, P. Moore had two catches. B. McKnight one catch, and one run out. L. Murray one run out. L. Keighran one run out. R. Barnes one catch. J. McKnight two runouts.

Cohuna Recreation Reserve hosted the game between Nondescripts and Cohuna United. Nondescripts 95, Cohuna United 64, Nondescripts winning by 31 runs.

Nondescripts’ top batter was X. Mitchell 24 runs from 21 balls, while E. Caburnay ran out for a golden duck. In the bowling, A. Hore two overs, eight runs, and one wicket. L. Johnson two overs, 12 runs, and two wickets. L. Higgs 3.3 overs, 22 runs and one wicket. T. Johnson four overs, 15 runs, and three wickets. M. Robinson one over, six runs, and one wicket. In the fielding, D. Clements two catches. P. Taylor two catches, and one stumping. O. Cooke one catch. T. Johnson one runout.

Leitchville/Gunbower had the bye.
