At the age of 98, David Price is saying goodbye to the community band Tempo Terrific.

Price has played bass clarinet with the band since its formation in 1998.

Over the past 28 years, he has played every piece of music in the band’s repertoire.

“His musical ability and support of the band has been outstanding,” a spokesperson said.

“David served as President for the year 2014 and as a member of Tempo Terrific, has performed at countless aged care facilities, fundraising concerts and community events on the Central Coast.

“We say ‘Thank you for the Music’ and wish him well in retirement.”
