Friends of Mount Wycheproof, The Buloke Times
Whether you are a proud local, a passing traveller, or just love flaunting the smallest registered mountain in the world, now is your chance to grab a unique sticker souvenir of Mount Wycheproof.
Initiative launched
Friends of Mount Wycheproof (FoMW), recently launched the promotional marketing souvenir over the March long weekend, coinciding with the popular Lions Club of Wycheproof “Show and Shine” event, an occasion where a bumper bar on a vehicle isn’t just a car part, it’s a moving billboard with personality.
Placing a Mount Wycheproof sticker on a vehicle can mean one is taking small-town pride on a big adventure. It can catch someone’s eyes at traffic lights, turn heads in drive-throughs, and might even spark a conversation at a service station. The question? “Where’s Wycheproof?”, the reply? “It’s home to the world’s smallest registered mountain, mate!”
Where to stick it?
Whilst a bumper bar isn’t the only option… one can get creative. Some suggestions on where to proudly feature a Mount Wycheproof sticker (besides the trusty vehicle or bumper bar) include: laptops, eskies, water bottles, tool or tackle box, wheelie bins, utility trays, the fridge in the farm shed, mailbox, guitar case, helmets, and even inside the caravan door – so every road trip comes with a little reminder of where you’ve been and where you should visit again.
Easter long weekend
What better time to continue further promotions around availability towards locals and visitors alike, than over the Easter long weekend? With many tourists and family rolling into town and often searching for a souvenir (or a conversation starter), it’s the ideal time to stick some local pride around. All are encouraged to stick it, share it, and show off your passion for Mount Wycheproof.
Easter time also presents the perfect opportunity to encourage people to climb the world’s smallest registered mountain. Hop to it, folks, Mount Wycheproof stickers are waiting for you.
Availability
The stickers are available locally from the following local outlets: Bakery on Broadway, Wycheproof Community Resource Centre, Wycheproof Caravan Park and the Wycheproof BP Service Station. Priced at $10.00 each with funds being re-invested into various initiatives across the community. Once they’re gone, they’re gone! Well, there could be a second print run, fingers crossed.
