On Sunday, March 30, a number of the North Central Vintage Car Club could be found on the banks of Lake Wooroonook, enjoying a meeting, lunch and celebrating an 80th birthday anniversary of one of its founding members.
It was the perfect weather for a sunny Sunday drive, and with vehicles like those owned by club members, a brilliant opportunity to take them out on the road and show them off.
The club has members from St. Arnaud, Charlton, Donald and Avoca, all combining together with an appreciation for classic cars and resulting with a gathering of immaculately restored and maintained beauties, gleaming lakeside on Sunday.
Members were also celebrating the 80th birthday anniversary of one of the club’s founders, Kevin Cadzow, who was all smiles as he posed beside his pride and joy, a 1970 MGB hard top.
It was great to see the beautiful cars lined up beside the lake as well as the club and its members making the most of the sunny autumn day and of the location, enjoying the good company of those with similar interests.
