The 2024 off-road dirt bike racing season has been nothing short of extraordinary, showcasing remarkable achievements and thrilling competition for Max Midwinter.

As the season draws to a close, racers and fans alike reflect on an unforgettable year filled with adrenaline-fueled moments and personal victories.

One standout competitor this season is Max Midwinter, whose impressive performance has solidified his reputation in the racing community.

Max commented that with the generous support of great local sponsors such as Blue City Motorcycles, Ride Tune Suspension, Munro and Mahney Conveyancer Naracoorte, Naracoorte and Penola Vet Clinic, and Sinclair Electrical, he has achieved remarkable milestones including:

  • 1st Place in the South Australian Championship, Pro Class/Outright
  • 3rd Place in the Victorian Championship, Pro Class/Outright
  • 5th Place in the Under 19 Class at the Hattah Desert Race, 40th Outright
  • 10th Place in the 450cc Class at the Australian Off-Road Championship

“This season has been a dream come true,” Max said.

“I owe a huge thanks to my sponsors for their support. Their contributions have kept me on the track and motivated me to push my limits.

“My father Mark Midwinter has maintained my bikes and transported me to events. He has always enjoyed bikes and passed his passion to me.”

Max’s victory in the South Australian Series for the Professional Class is a testament to his dedication and passion for the sport. Each race was an opportunity to showcase his skills, but also to grow as a competitor and an athlete.
