What a show!

Recent stories

The 115th Corryong Show went off with a bang on Saturday with spectators coming from near and far to experience the Upper Murray on display.

There were pony rides, inflatable fun, sideshows, reptile demonstrations, motorbike demonstrations, face painting, markets and so much more for everyone to enjoy.

The fireworks are always a crowd favourite with this year being one of the most colourful displays yet.

Despite the threat of rain, attendance was one of the biggest to date. The showground was packed with families ready to enjoy all that was on offer. The pavillion was full of budding talent.

Some winners from the night were Leslie Tyrell who won a jar of yoyos from Corryong Cafè Brew. The winner of the $500 in the Cowpat Lotto went to number 98 which was purchased by Lauralee Hogg! The winner of Suglarloaf Creek Herefords ‘Guess The Weight’ went to Andrew Sproule with a guess of 450kg – the actual weight being 457kg!

The show committee is seeking feedback from the community about this year’s event and a survey is available on social media (see the QR code).

Aternatively, you can have a say at the Corryong Show’s annual general meeting on Monday 18th November, 2024.
