Meet the team from Sunwater, learn about the history of Leslie Dam and how it works and find out how you can prepare for local weather events and stay safe in and on the water.
It’s all happening at Leslie Dam on Saturday 8 June from 10am to 2pm.
Those aged ten years and older will be able to take a tour inside the dam wall.
Participants must be able to easily manage a 45-minute walk, including approximately 100 stairs.
The tour may not be suitable for people with claustrophobia.
Registrations will be taken on day of event only at the Sunwater stall.
Strictly limited numbers and enclosed footwear must be worn.
Also on the day will be plenty of activities for all the family including live music, kids’ activities, emergency service displays and a free barbecue.
Leslie Dam is 15 minutes west of Warwick and about a 25 minute drive from Allora.
The 2024 Leslie Dam Open Day is organised by Sunwater.
