Local roads have been all Hi-Vis, traffic cone and red light, green light lately as crews work on numerous Council and state roads.
Toowoomba Karara Road from Drayton through to Felton has been rife with works, motorists reporting waits of up to fifteen minutes or more in a single spot.
The New England Highway has also seen its fair share of activity in the Cambooya stretch between United Etonvale and Drayton Connection Road, which has included widening the road and wide-centre line treatment.
There has also been work further along the highway at Hodgson Vale, as well as numerous projects on Council roads.
Much of the work around the district has been financed with the help of flood recovery funds.
