Hay Branch of NSW Farmers reactivated

Recent stories

The Hay Branch of NSW Farmers was reactivated at the group’s recent annual general meeting, after several years of inactivity.

Geoff Chapman was appointed as president of the local branch, supported by honorary secretary Rowan Houston.

NSW Farmers Regional Services Manager Frank Galluzzo said the successful meeting will open up networking and training opportunities.

“We held discussions around policy and started the process of planning some events to be held in Hay,” he said.

“We are asking farmers what they want and need, so we can run sessions that support and benefit the community, and attract even more new members to the branch.

“Anyone who has ideas about what Hay needs can get in contact with me,” Mr Galluzzo told The Grazier.

Geoff White from the rural training organisation SpraySmart gave a presentation to those at the meeting.
