128th Dungog Show, 10-11 November 2023

Dungog Show is on this year on Friday 10th November and Saturday 11th November. This is year is the 128th Dungog Show since its beginning in 1887.

On Friday the Dungog Show will see an ABCRA affiliated Camp draft, Junior Beef Cattle Judging, and the Junior Farmhand School visit where the local Primary Schools, Preschools and High School Students are involved in a range of rotational activities. 

Saturday is a jammed packed day of fun starting in the morning with the judging of poultry, beef cattle, and stock horses. All day the animal nursery, cookery, craft, photography and fresh produce pavilions are open. There is lots of activities for all ages including a pet parade, dog high jump, and dachshund dash. There are camel races, post splitting, pig races, snake and machinery displays going on throughout the afternoon.

The grand parade at 2pm will see the Show opened by RAS Councillor Duncan McIntyre and include the announcement of this years Rural Young Woman.

Saturday evening sees the highly anticipated entertainment events including mower races, flaming whip cracking, demolition derby and the 9pm fireworks. This is followed by Georgie Darr live next to the bar playing late into the night rounding out the Show.
