Tigers tested, but still untamed

Recent stories

Eighteen home-and-away rounds, a second semi-final, and a grand final, and Sea Lake-Nandaly Tigers have remained undefeated in North-Central League’s 2023 senior football season.

And Saturday’s seniors success wasn’t the Tigers’ only football premiership, others being in the reserves and under-14s.

Not that their senior opponents were to go home empty-handed. Not only did those worthiest of warriors push the Tigers all the way on the Boort football oval; they also triumphed in four of the six netball titles on offer, “A” grade, “B” grade, 17-and-under and 14-and-under “A”. Other premierships were won by Boort under-17 footballers, Charlton women, St. Arnaud men and under-12s and Birchip-Watchem under-15 hockey teams, and Boort “B” grade and Birchip-Watchem 14-and-under “B” netballers.
