Recent stories

Toowoomba Regional Council has given its approval to a development application requesting to build a shopping centre on Brisbane Street, Drayton.

It is located on a 6,276m2 block at 29-33 Brisbane Street that is currently vacant.

The land is between the Downs Hotel and Drayton Police Station.

The shopping centre is set to include a supermarket, two specialty shops, an alfresco dining area, main entry foyer and 105 car spaces.

The application, submitted on 17 March this year, was submitted by Brisbane-based property developer Capital Transactions Development Management Pty Ltd.

It will be just down the road from an existing shopping centre complex, anchored by Woolworths.
